Apartment Life Coordinators bring life to an apartment community through an organized program that includes personally reaching out to residents during specific points throughout their lease, planning and hosting events for residents, and caring for residents and apartment staff in times of need. This looks different based on the type of community you are placed in, and will be communicated in the job description for the location you apply for.

Apartment Life offers both onsite and offsite programs. Our onsite program offers heavily discounted rent for living in a 2-bedroom unit at the apartment community where you serve. Our offsite program offers contracted, hourly pay based on the hours you work each month.

It depends. If you choose to serve as an onsite coordinator, you will move to that community. If you want to serve as an Apartment Life Coordinator but are unable to move, you can still serve offsite! Our offsite program allows you to be paid to serve an apartment (or multiple apartments) in your surrounding area, depending on availability.

No worries! Apartment Life is a side gig for many of our coordinators who mainly work serving residents in the evenings and on weekends. As long as you are flexible and willing to serve, we would love to speak with you about your schedule!

Yes! Many of our teams are families with kids. We recommend coming into the application process with a plan for childcare and building a volunteer support team to help ensure residents remain the focus of your events. However, we welcome kids of all ages to join in the programming. *NOTE: Not every program will be open to children (i.e., some senior communities with age restrictions). During the application process, we will match you with the best community for your family.
