Our Leadership Team

Sommer has two decades of experience in both financial consulting and nonprofit management. Before joining Apartment Life, Sommer spent a decade developing, growing, and leading a global finance department for an organization serving the orphaned and vulnerable children of Zambia, Africa. She has a BBA in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and has her CPA license. Sommer started her career with Protiviti Inc. and has worked as an Adjunct Professor at DBU. Sommer and her husband Jeremy have two daughters. Free time for Sommer includes her daughters' activities, Texas Rangers baseball, traveling, and planning her next vacation.
